The Ask an IPL Librarian Reference Service will close for the U.S. Thanksgiving Day holiday on November 26, 2008 at 10 p.m. (EST). We will reopen the service on November 28, 2008 at Noon (EST).
Meet the Internet Public Library’s Administrative Team!
Michael Galloway, Manager, Digital Collections
Drexel University Manages the IPL's online collections. Instructs students in IPL member school workshops in collection development and maintenance for the IPL. Provides technical support for QRC, the in-house software that runs the IPL's Ask an IPL Librarian email reference service, and Hypatia, the in-house software that houses the IPL's digital collections. Performs website maintenance on the IPL.
Malissa Ruffner, Reference Services Coordinator
Drexel University Coordinates all reference volunteers, maintains user accounts, provides support to faculty and assists with administration of the Ask an IPL Librarian reference service.
Alison Miller, Researcher in Distance Education
Florida State University Sets up courses for IPL projects; supports students and faculty on IPL-related coursework and projects; assists in reviewing new students’ and volunteers’ practice reference questions, IPL collection development and reference work, and training resources for IPL students and staff; monitors and provides assistance for the IPL Learning Community site; and assists with IPL distance education activities.
Lillian Rozaklis, Doctoral Student, College of Information Science and Technology
Drexel University Assists in reviewing new students' practice reference questions for the Ask an IPL Librarian reference service, and in developing training resources for IPL students, volunteers, and staff. The Internet Public Library was founded in 1995 by Dr. Joseph Janes. |
